Bottling Line
Industry Served: Consumer Products
Problem:
A cleaning product manufacturing facility experienced excessive pipe vibration on its bottling line due to a quick-closing valve. The rapid valve actuation was generating hydraulic shock (water hammer), compromising system stability and potentially damaging components.
Solution:
To address the issue, a Blacoh 85 cu in pulsation dampener was installed upstream of the valve, precisely where the hydraulic hammer originated. The dampener effectively absorbed the pressure spikes, reducing vibration and protecting the integrity of the piping system.
Result:
The installation led to significant reduction in pipe vibration, improved system reliability, and minimized maintenance concerns related to hydraulic shock.
